Margo holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee and possess over twenty years of managerial experience. She has owned a home in Hendersonville since 2002. She returned to the area to be closer to her grandfather after working for a private developer in Cashiers North Carolina and Great Guana Cay Bahamas.
As the Design Manager at Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club she was responsible for maintaining design integrity and best practices for construction across the property. She managed approximately $150 million in residential construction and $20 million in club amenities during her two years there. She was responsible for monitoring more than thirty construction sites along with 36 project managers, superintendents and design interns. She represented the developer, construction company, architect of record, interior designer of record as well as private clients.
In 2009, she managed the Homeowner’s Association, water and wastewater treatment plants, the design review committee, and contractor access at Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club. Prior to that, she was the Design Manager for the Cabin & Lodge Program at Mountaintop.
Before working for a private developer, she worked as an Architect Intern for commercial and residential architects in North Carolina and South Carolina.
She has volunteered at Mission Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care, Merrywood Retirement Community, Carolinas Medical Center Emergency Room, and Charlotte Humane Society. As an undergraduate, she participated in two foreign studies in Poland and Portugal.
Lauren holds a degree in fine art and is imperative to Woodlands. She has put her life on hold for six months to hike the Appalachian Trail. Go Lauren Go!
Judy Cyphers has had a career in education and philanthropy that included fund raising and development for a major university and public broadcasting, as well as 20 years in grant making at a private family foundation. Upon retiring and moving to Hendersonville in 2009, she pursued volunteering in several local nonprofits including SmartStart, United Way, and the Blue Ridge Literacy Council. In addition, she has worked in local art galleries including the Revolving Art Gallery, Wickwire and Woodlands.
Margo re-homed in 2017 at 5 months old. He is a friendly little Leo baby spending his days shaking hands and kissing babies. He is an overachiever. As soon as he wakes up from his nap, he is going to run for Mayor.
